Dwight was the first school in the U.S. to offer the comprehensive IB curriculum
(Primary Years, Middle Years, and Diploma Programs) from preschool through grade twelve. It was also the first school in New York City to offer the preschool PYP. Widely known as the most challenging and respected pre-university course of study anywhere in the world, the IB is the only universal curriculum where students are graded according to international benchmarks.
Dwight graduates attend the most prestigious universities
in the United States and around the world, including Harvard, Stanford, Dartmouth, Princeton, New York University, McGill University, the University of Edinburgh, and St. Andrews.

Dwight School is comprised of two campuses. The Early Childhood Division (2s, 3s, 4s & K) is located on our Riverside Campus (144 Riverside Boulevard
). The lower, middle, and upper schools (grades 1-12) are located on our Central Park West Campus (291 Central Park West
