Woodside Preschool, The Early Years Program of The Dwight School, provides an authentic learning experience for children to become enthusiastic, caring, compassionate, internationally minded learners and problem solvers. The school offers the Primary Years Program (PYP) of the International Baccalaureate which combines inquiry and traditional methods. The PYP seeks to unlock the unique potential of the children so that they can become the knowledgeable leaders of tomorrow.
Woodside Preschool has been named to honor Dwight’s London campus, Woodside Park International School.
Woodside Park was founded in 1880 as an all boys preparatory school and has developed into a co-educational international day school of approximately 550 students situated on three sites in the North Finchley and Friern Barnet areas of North London. Dwight thus became the first independent day school in the United States to establish a permanent international campus. Today, there is a thriving exchange program between Dwight and its London sister school.
