Why Give?

Why Give to The Foundation?

The Dwight School Foundation is a separate 501(c)(3) not-for-profit entity that was established in 1969 that provides professional development grants to Dwight faculty, and financial aid and innovation grants to Dwight students. The Foundation’s Advancement Office is responsible for all fundraising and alumni relations. The Office works closely with the Chancellor, Head of School, Foundation Trustees, Parents Association, Alumni Council, and countless volunteers to secure philanthropic support and strengthen the Dwight community.

The Foundation has three main fundraising initiatives: the Annual Fund, an annual appeal to all members of the Dwight community; capital fundraising for investments and expanded opportunities for all Dwight students; and the Spring Benefit, an elegant evening which strengthens our community and supports The Foundation's mission. Total giving to Dwight School of over $29M in the past fifteen years has had a dramatic impact on Dwight students and faculty. We hope you, too, will support our efforts.
