Why Give?
Why Give to The Foundation?
Tuition alone does not cover the full cost of educating a child and providing a world-class Dwight School education. Established in 1969, The Dwight School Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that is governed by a Board of Trustees and provides professional development grants to faculty, and financial aid and innovation grants to students. All donations to the Foundation are 100% tax-deductible.
The Foundation has three main fundraising initiatives.
- The Annual Fund: This is our yearly appeal to all members of the Dwight community, which supports the causes of faculty professional development, student financial aid, and Spark Tank innovation grants.
- Capital Fundraising: The Foundation raises capital funds to make transformative investments, and to expand programs and opportunities for Dwight students and faculty.
- Spring Benefit: This event both celebrates the Dwight community and supports the Foundation’s mission. While we hope to have the Benefit either in-person or virtually, we will evaluate what’s advisable in the coming months.
