Stephen Spahn, Chancellor

Celebrating over 50 years in education, Chancellor of Dwight School Stephen Spahn is the longest-serving school leader in New York City. He has been at Dwight since 1967, igniting the spark of genius in every child, mentoring generations of students, and educating them to become innovative global leaders.

Blake Spahn '89, Vice Chancellor

As Vice Chancellor, Blake Spahn ’89 has oversight of all Dwight School operations, extending across the Main Campus, Riverside Campus, and the Dwight School Athletic Center. His strategic oversight ensures the efficient and effective management of all facilities, systems, and staff in support of Dwight's innovative world-class programs.

Dianne Drew, Head of School and Global Education Director

A native of Melbourne, Australia, Ms. Drew is an internationally recognized educator with 30 years of experience in administration, teaching, curriculum development, and educational consulting in both public and private schools in Australia, Asia, and the U.S.

Khaliah Adams-Joseph, a seasoned leader with over a decade of educational experience, proudly assumes the role of Global Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) at Dwight.

Nicholas Anastos, Global Director of Technology

Nick, a New Jersey native, brings to the Dwight family of schools over 21 years of educational technology and IT experience. He began his career in Information Technology working for The College of New Jersey's IT department while earning his bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems Management.

Chris Beddows, Head of Dwight School London

Originally from the North of England, Chris Beddows has been working in international schools for over 15 years with experience in leadership, curriculum design and development, teaching and learning as well consulting. He has spent extensive time working in schools both in Europe and North America.

Shelby Berry, Global Curriculum Director

Shelby Berry has over 15 years of experience in teaching, curriculum development, and administration. She has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Secondary Education from the University of Miami and a Masters in Educational Leadership and Management from the University of Bath.

Doug Bradley, Global Chief Financial Officer

Doug Bradley is Dwight’s Global Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for new school development around the world. Mr. Bradley was a founding member of the Board of Directors for Qibao Dwight High School in Shanghai.

Allison Feldman, Global Communications Director

Allison Feldman is an innovative marketing leader with over 20 years of experience in educational publishing, developing programs, partnering with school districts, and collaborating with academics.

Originally from Scotland, Tom has spent much of his international teaching career in China, though he has worked in the UK, Europe, and Africa. He is a graduate from the Moray House School of Education at Edinburgh University, and studied at King's College London for an MA in International Education. He also holds a Masters in IT and a BA (Hons) in Marketing.

Shellee Hendricks

Shellee Hendricks, Global Director of College Counseling, has been at Dwight since 2021. She brings over 25 years of global experience as an educator and as Director of College Counseling at American International Schools in Rio de Janeiro, Barcelona, and New York.

Carmen Hernandez, CFO & Global Accounting Director

Carmen Hernandez joined Dwight School in 2014 after working as the school’s external auditor for nearly 6 years at a public accounting firm. She earned her bachelor's degree in accounting from SUNY Old Westbury and an MBA degree from NYU Stern School of Business.

David Hutson, Head of Dwight School Dubai

David Hutson has been a passionate educator for 20 years, starting as a Business and Economics teacher, before moving into senior leadership positions in two UK schools. In 2011, he moved to Abu Dhabi to join an international school, in its foundation year, as Vice Principal.

Raphaelle Sondak, Global Director of Human Resources

Raphaelle Sondak is an alumnus of Dwight School and is happy to return to the Dwight family as Global Director of Human Resources. Ms. Sondak has worked as an HR Director in many industries including for-profit, not-for-profit, and education; and was an adjunct professor at the college level teaching HR management and leadership courses.

Lesa Wang is a maker educator and experience curator. She is known for “bringing the outside in” to her classroom. She has created large-scale projects with her students and has invited experts in the field to come view their work.
