Welcome to Dwight's Upper School!

Welcome to Dwight's Upper School! I am really looking forward to supporting your child throughout their Upper School journey.

As the Head of this division, I hope to be a helpful resource for you. I am here to assist and guide you, as are the grade level Deans, who will be reaching out over the summer with more details about orientation and the first days of school. Your child's progress — both in and out of the classroom — is paramount to helping ignite their spark of genius.

I feel privileged that you have chosen to entrust us with your child's education. Throughout my 19 years at Dwight, I continue to be impressed by the academic, social, and emotional growth each student experiences throughout their time in the Upper School. Students at Dwight are consistently collaborating with one another, listening to and sharing multiple perspectives, taking academic risks, solving complex problems, and using deep critical thinking as they develop into responsible global citizens.

I look forward to welcoming you to Dwight and celebrating your child's achievements during the 2024-25 school year.

Best,
Eric Dale, Head of Upper School

To-Do List

Please read through the following and be sure to complete the required items for your child's grade level.

Summer Bulletins

Get ready for the 2024-25 school year!

ONLINE BOOKSTORE

Fall textbooks are now available from the MBS Direct online bookstore. Orders over $99 will receive free UPS shipping from July 29-August 4. For instructions for ordering books, read more here.

All teachers will require a notebook for their individual class. Beyond this, per our teachers' request, please do not purchase any additional supplies, other than those listed on the online bookstore, until after students have attended the first day of classes. Once students receive individual requirements from their teachers, families can then decide what additional supplies to purchase.

If you have additional questions, please contact Caroline Venturini, Main Office Manager, at cventurini@dwight.edu or John Murphy, Office Coordinator, at jmurphy@dwight.edu.
