Kindergarten Application Process

Applications for the 2021-22 academic year will be available on September 8, 2020. Please check our Virtual Admissions Events page for news about upcoming admissions events.

Submit Online Application

Please create an account and apply online through Ravenna, our admissions database.

Attend an Open House

Due to COVID-19 health precautions, all of our events will be held virtually this year. We will be hosting a number of events this season so that you can better understand our community, faculty and curriculum. These will include Lower School Open Houses where you will have the opportunity to meet our leadership and also to take a virtual tour with the Admissions team. To sign up for an Open House, please visit our Virtual Admissions Events page.

Schedule Parent Interview

Once you have submitted an application, you will be able to schedule your virtual parent interview via Ravenna. We will be conducting individual virtual parent interviews via Zoom on Monday and Friday afternoons throughout the admissions season.

Schedule Individual Child Assessment

As part of our regular admissions process we conduct small group play sessions to assess our Kindergarten applicants. However, this year we will be evaluating applicants on an individual basis due to social distancing and health protocols. We will be conducting individual child assessments via zoom on Monday and Friday mornings throughout the season.

Submit ISAAGNY Confidential School Report

We ask Kindergarten applicants to submit the Independent School Admissions Association of Greater New York (ISAAGNY) confidential school report.  However, if your child is not currently enrolled in a preschool program this year, please contact our Admissions office to discuss alternative options. The ISAAGNY report is to be given to your child’s current school and must be submitted directly from their school to ours. If your child presently attends an ISAAGNY school, they can supply you with the form. It can also be downloaded from this page.
