Submit Online Application
Please create an account and apply online through Ravenna, our admissions database. To submit a 2020-21 application for grades 9-12, please contact us first to confirm the availability in the grade your child is entering. If there is space, the Admissions office will then provide you with a bypass code, which is needed to submit an application.
Attend a Virtual Open House
Due to COVID-19 health precautions, all of our fall admissions events will be held virtually. We will be hosting a number of events this season so that you can get to know our community, faculty and curriculum. The Upper School Open Houses will give you the opportunity to meet our leadership team and hear from high school students as well as attend a virtual school tour. To sign up for an Upper School Open House, please visit our Virtual Admissions Events page.
We will also be sharing videos and stories throughout the season so that you can learn more about our arts, innovation, athletics and other programs that we offer. High school student ambassadors will be available to answer questions and share their experiences.
Schedule a Virtual Family Conversation and Student Interview
Every applicant for upper school is required to schedule a student interview and an informal family conversation with an upper school admissions director. These appointments will take place over Zoom. This is an opportunity for students and parents to ask questions and learn more about Dwight’s curriculum and programs.
Additionally, applicants interested in our learning support program, Quest, will be required to schedule a virtual assessment with a Quest faculty member.
Submit Official Transcript and Confidential Teacher Recommendations
The transcript release form and teacher recommendation forms should be submitted to the applicant’s present school. The teacher recommendation forms must come from both the student's math and English/Native tongue teachers and should be completed after December 1st to ensure an accurate assessment of the student’s performance. If the transcript and teacher recommendation forms are not completed in English, an official translation must also be sent. The forms can be downloaded from this page.

Dwight’s Test optional policy for the 2020-21 Admissions Season
Due to the extra challenges presented by COVID-19, we are making ISEE/SSAT testing optional this fall. We will consider all applicants equally, whether or not they submit standardized test results.
If you want to submit your scores, please ensure that Dwight School is listed as a recipient. Our school code for the ISEE is 333605. For the SSAT, our code is 2930.
Optional: Submit ISAAGNY Common Applicant Essay or Graded Writing Sample
Applicants to Upper School have the option of submitting the ISAAGNY Common Upper School Applicant essay, but it is not mandatory. Applicants will be able to download the ISAAGNY essay form once they submit their applications in Ravenna.
Please note: Applicant family is responsible for confirming application is complete. The Admissions Office will not review incomplete applications.
