Thank you for your interest in Dwight School. Our first round application deadline for September 2017 for grades N - 12 has now passed. We will open up a second round in select grades based on availability. For international families, we offer rolling admission based on availability. Submit Online Application

Please create an account and apply online through Ravenna, our admissions database. For all upper school applicants, the deadline for consideration in the first round of review is November 15, 2016.

Schedule an interview and tour

Once you have submitted an application, we will contact you to schedule a student interview and tour. You are also welcome to attend an open house. Please visit our Important Dates page for more information.

Submit Official Transcript and Confidential Teacher Recommendations

The transcript release form and teacher recommendation forms should be submitted to the candidate’s present school. The teacher recommendation forms must come from both the student's math and English/native tongue teachers and should be completed after December 1 to ensure an accurate assessment of the student’s performance. If the transcript and teacher recommendation forms are not completed in English, an official translation must also be sent. The forms can be downloaded from this page.

Submit Assessments

Test results from the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) of the Secondary School Admissions Test (SSAT) should be submitted to the Admissions Office. To register for the test, please contact the ERB office at 1.800.989.3721 or visit their website. To register for the SSAT, please visit their website.
Please note, families relocating to New York are exempt from standardized testing. In place of these exams, the Dwight Admissions Department will coordinate individualized language and math assessments for your children

Submit Writing Sample

A writing sample completed for either a history or English class must be submitted.

Please note: Applicant family is responsible for confirming application is complete. The Admissions Office will not review incomplete applications.
