Jill Ortman, College Counselor

Jill Ortman obtained a bachelor's degree from Brown University in 1970, a master's degree in German Literature from Brown University in 1971, and a master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Boston University in 2000. Previous to joining Dwight's College Counseling team in 2009, she was college counselor and AP Coordinator at Colegio Menor San Francisco de Quito and at Liceo Internacional in Quito, Ecuador. In addition to teaching EAL and counseling students at Dwight, Ms. Ortman is the lead counselor for the Dwight School - High School Attached to Capital Normal University program in Beijing, China. She also continues to work as a freelance writer for ESL publishers including Longman Pearson, Kaplan, Cengage, McGraw Hill, and Oxford University Press.
