Louisa Childs, Global Legal Director for The Dwight Schools, and Head of School of Dwight Global, brings to Dwight a deep background in international legal work and educational issues.
In her almost ten years at Dwight, Ms. Childs has overseen all legal work concerning the school network. As General Counsel, Ms. Childs was instrumental in the founding of Dwight School Seoul, Shanghai Qibao Dwight High School, Dwight School Dubai, and Dwight Global, as well as other innovative Dwight programs worldwide.
Previously, Ms. Childs served as an attorney at the law firm of King & Spalding, where she practiced litigation and led teams under Christopher A. Wray, currently the Director of the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation. Prior to joining private practice, Ms. Childs also worked as a Judicial Law Clerk for The Honorable Stanley F. Birch of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Ms. Childs is a cum laude graduate of New York University School of Law and Dartmouth College. At NYU, Ms. Childs was awarded the Edward Weinfeld Graduation Prize for legal scholarship, and also was named a Robert McKay Scholar.
