Michael grew up in Old Greenwich, CT where he began playing an array of sports at a young age. At Brunswick School, a private school in Greenwich, CT, he excelled in ice hockey, football, and baseball. After graduation, Michael attended Lehigh University where he played for the varsity football team and was a member of Chi Psi Fraternity. Michael’s love of sports originally led him to a sports marketing firm, which afforded him the opportunity to travel to over 45 states coordinating sporting events for various clients. However, after a few years Michael’s strong desire to teach, combined with the fact that athletics has played such an important role in his life, led him to pursue a career in physical education. Michael recently graduated from Teachers College, Columbia University with his Masters in Teaching Physical Education. He will play an integral role as part of the Dwight faculty as a physical education, health teacher and coach. His passions include ice hockey, softball, biking, football, skiing and many other outdoor adventures. In addition, he also enjoys spending time with his family and friends, as well as, traveling, and sampling exotic foods.
