Preparing Our Children for 21st-century Success: Grades PreK-12
What does it take for students to succeed in college and thrive in our increasingly globalized and rapidly changing world? An education that prepares them to think critically, creatively, and to drive their own learning through the International Baccalaureate curriculum. The acceptance and retention rates of IB students attending top colleges and universities are higher than any other curriculum in the world. Building on the skills the IB fosters, Dwight also helps students develop grit and resiliency, which according to current research, matter more to a child’s ability to reach his or her full potential than intelligence, skill, or even grades. Bouncing back from failure is one of the best lessons a child can learn. Bringing these elements together, we provide students with a very strong foundation to meet the many 21st-century challenges before them.
