Network Experiences
As a leading global network, we offer faculty and staff exciting opportunities not available elsewhere. These include the ability to teach or work on another campus, opening the door to live in another part of the world.
Additionally, employees can participate in — and lead — cross-campus exchanges and programs with colleagues within and beyond the classroom. We encourage collaboration, sharing knowledge and best practices — and the building of camaraderie that comes from reaching across continents and time zones to achieve shared goals.
Chaperone Trips Around the World
Another exciting opportunity that faculty and staff have is to serve as a chaperone on a trip that students take either to visit another Dwight School or to destinations worldwide. International travel is an integral part of a Dwight education, and we entrust chaperones with the important responsibility of ensuring that our students are well cared for during these exciting experiences.
Hear from our faculty who have worked on more than one campus
“Our students at various campuses are connected by the IB curricula and its mission to develop "inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people". No matter which campus I'm teaching on, there is this common thread running through our approaches to teaching. ”
- Daniel Bjelis, Head of Mathematics and WILD Outdoor Coordinator at New York, by way of Shanghai
“It feels like a big family that I am a part of. The connections and collaboration that takes place between the schools is amazing. Personally, I am in close contact with the PYP coordinators of Dwight Seoul, New York, and London to continuously find collaboration opportunities and to learn from and with each other. ”
- Katie Hendry, PYP Coordinator and Associate Head of Lower School at Dubai, by way of London
“The opportunity to work alongside highly skilled, dedicated, and innovative educators. Additionally, the opportunity to work with knowledgable and supportive administrators. I feel working for Dwight has accelerated my professional skillset years beyond where I would be otherwise.”
