Naturally, word of mouth and online searches are the best places to start when looking for an accredited, highly ranked, and established online high school like Dwight Global Online School.

Dwight Global’s personalized education and highly experienced faculty and school leadership offer students a top-notch college preparatory education that sets them up for success. The school offers comprehensive college counseling beginning in ninth grade.

Dwight Global’s high school curriculum provides a variety of academic choices for students: Honors and Advanced Placement classes, as well as International Baccalaureate and the IB Diploma Programme, and even a customized academic pathway unique to the student.

In addition, Dwight Global is in partnership with prestigious academies across the globe. The collaborations allow golfers, fencers, soccer players, dancers, equestrians, tennis players, and other athletes and performing artists to receive support and advance their academic and extracurricular passions at the highest levels.

“At Dwight Global, we are deeply committed to celebrating the spark of genius in every student,” said Director of Admissions Alicia Morris.

“Our mission is to nurture each learner’s passions and talents within a rigorous academic environment that values personalized learning, intellectual curiosity, and global citizenship. Whether your student is a scholar, artist, innovator, or athlete, our flexible, world-class education is designed to support them in achieving their goals,” she said.

Once a family zeros in on the school they wish to apply to, each school’s requirements need to be closely tracked to ensure all steps are completed, and in the right order.

At Dwight Global Online School, families are encouraged to first schedule an admissions consultation with an admissions associate or attend a virtual open house.

The school operates on a rolling admissions basis, which is helpful for students who need to transfer during the school year. For example, students who travel often with their families may seek an online high school program due to a parent’s job change or move.

For students wishing to enroll at the beginning of the school year, Dwight Global opens priority admissions beginning October 1 of each year, for entry the following fall. For all applications, the online high school uses the application platform Ravenna to submit supporting materials, including:

  • Recommendations from a math and English teacher.
  • Previous and current transcripts.
  • A graded writing sample.
  • SSAT, PSAT, SAT, ACT, or ISEE scores (optional)
  • A Zoom interview with a member of the Admissions team.

Dwight Global looks for globally-minded students who are passionate about learning, self-aware, good time managers, and uncompromising in the pursuit of their goals.
