Important Dates for 2024-25

Please be sure mark your calendar for the following events leading up to the start of school:

• Math placement tests for all new students (starting April 15)

• Course selection with your student’s Dean (will resume on July 30); check your email for details

• Class Scheduling: Email all the times that you are available to attend live classes, Monday-Thursday, in Eastern Time to schedules@dwight.global.

• Online Orientation modules to prepare for the year (starting August 1)

• Immunization records and health documentation are due (August 30)

• First day of Classes (September 3)

• Plan to attend Orientation at Dwight School in New York City from September 6 to September 8. Though attendance is optional, it is a great way to meet members of the Dwight Global community in person.

Please review this list for all summer/pre-fall assignments for the 2024-25 classes.  Unless otherwise indicated, assignments should be completed before the first day of class on September 3.

Can't make it to New York? Join us for Virtual Orientation!

We are thrilled to invite you to our Virtual Orientation on Saturday, September 7, from 10 am to 12 pm ET! This is a fantastic opportunity to kick off the new school year with enthusiasm and get ready for an exciting journey ahead. 

During the orientation, we'll cover essential topics such as: preparing for the school year, study skills, academic integrity and more! You'll also have the chance to hear directly from other Dwight students, sharing their experiences and tips for success.

This orientation is especially designed for those students who cannot attend the in-person orientation in New York.  It’s a perfect way to meet your peers and teachers, and to start building the connections that will support you throughout the year.

• We recommend that students have an updated PC or Apple computer (desktop or laptop). Chromebooks are not able to support some software used in our courses.
• Your device should have a microphone so you can participate in class discussions.
• Your device should have a working webcam. If not, please obtain an external webcam.
• Headphones are highly recommended as they help to minimize audio distraction.
• You should have consistent access to the internet.
• If you do not already have it, please download and install Google Chrome web browser. Canvas integrations are not compatible with other internet browsers.
• Make sure you have an updated installation of the Zoom desktop application.
• Though not required, tablets and iPads can be beneficial for electronic note-taking, using the Canvas Student or Zoom apps for learning on the go, and other interactive activities.
