At Dwight Global we strive to build a community of compassionate, respectful, and motivated students who will become lifelong learners and global leaders. In our online environment, which incorporates respect and belonging, we provide a forum for students to express their needs, wants, and interests. Being a part of Dwight Global’s online student clubs and societies makes it incredibly simple to recognise each other's needs and make new life long friendships, while having fun and feeling valued.

Our Signature Traditions

Camerer Essay Contest

A Dwight Network personal narrative writing competition. The winners from our school take on the other Dwight winners from around the world.

OUR House System

Adapted from the British system, students are assigned a House upon enrollment. The four Dwight Global Houses connect, compete, and collect points to see which House wins the coveted House Cup!

STEAM WEekend in NYC

A beloved annual tradition for Dwight Global students in grades 6-12, STEAM weekend brings students together for in-person learning and collaboration, with time for NYC outings to restaurants, museums, and other city highlights.

Dwight Global Concert

Students from Dwight’s eight campuses around the world take the stage at New York City’s Lincoln Center or at one of our global locations to celebrate Dwight Schools musical collaboration.

Often this involves finding activities that fall at the intersection of formal study and co-curricular or extracurricular activities. That’s why Dwight Global offers an expansive list of student clubs and organizations.

Making Connections

Spark Talks and Guest Speakers

Mediated by Dwight Global students, members from our local and international communities speak to our students, staff, and families about a wide range of topics including STEM, entrepreneurism, activism, and athletics.

Assemblies

Monthly, the whole Dwight Global community comes together for Friday assemblies. This time together includes a mix of announcements, games, and Social-Emotional Learning opportunities.

New Student Buddy System

When new Lions join our pride, they are connected with a Buddy Mentor who is there to answer questions and help the transition to the school in the clouds seamless. 
 

Travel Opportunities

Dwight offers students unparalleled opportunities to explore the world and become global leaders. Rooted in our School’s three pillars of global vision, community, and personalized learning, our travel programs are designed to ignite curiosity, foster connections, and empower students to thrive in an ever-changing world.

Our students travel to the home countries of Dwight Schools in our global network for exchanges, where they forge friendships with peers on other campuses and are introduced to different cultures. They also travel to other international destinations to participate in leadership and community service programs, pursue athletic training, and see more of the world. 

Community Service

Dwight Global prides itself on well rounded students who also know the importance of connecting with their school and local communities. Supporting organizations like the Thandanani Children's Foundation, WISER Girls School in Kenya, and St. Jude Children's Hospital, students are offered a variety of ways to take action in community service throughout the year.

Internships

Dwight Global has a dedicated internships department that helps inform and place our Dwight students with mentor companies and leaders. Recent internships have included Tiffany & Co., the Atlanta Braves, and art galleries in New York City.
