Introduction to Academics

Dwight Global offers blended classes for students grades 6 to 12.  Dwight Global combines real-time online video conferencing seminars, Oxford-style tutorials, and a college-style schedule to provide students with the intimacy of an independent school coupled with the freedom to pursue their passions.

While students can join online classes from anywhere, they are also invited to join residential experiences on Dwight's New York campus. Students may also arrange to visit and study on other Dwight campuses worldwide. This combination of online and in-person experiences ensures that our students receive a complete education.

Starting in Grade 6, Dwight Global students are introduced to an inquiry-based curriculum through which they are encouraged to collaborate, think critically and independently, and apply their knowledge to the world around them. Students are at the center of their learning journey, and they are encouraged to develop a passion for learning and embrace new challenges with both enthusiasm and confidence. Starting in Grade 9, advanced students are given the opportunity to take Advanced Placement courses. In Grade 11, students may choose to take International Baccalaureate courses and sit for the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma.
