College Counseling

The IB is recognized as one of the world’s more rigorous courses of study and the Diploma Program is the “gold standard” in pre-university preparation. Dwight DP candidates have a distinct advantage in the college admissions process and often earn college credit for their coursework.

We work individually with every student throughout grades 9-12 in preparation for the college application process and help them identify the schools that are the best fit based on their academic profile, personal interests, and aspirations.

Our college counselors offer expertise in university admissions across the world, including the U.S., Canada, the UK, continental Europe, and Asia — and look forward to supporting students and their families every step of the way.

Bowdoin, Cornell, Dartmouth, Duke, UCLA, McGill, NYU, University of Pennsylvania, University of St. Andrews, Vanderbilt, University of Virginia, Wesleyan and Yale are among Dwight’s college matriculations.

A Four-year Path to Success

We provide extensive information, guidance, and support starting in grade 9 ― which continues through all four years of Upper School.
