Hero Slideshow
The hero slideshow at the top of the page can contain images/videos.
Create a Gallery
- Create a Gallery of Images
- Add Image/Video
- Add overlay title to the title field.
- Add overlay button to the description field. Button style - '2022_button-default'
- Save
Once a homepage gallery has been created, images can be added, deleted or rearranged as needed.
Connect Homepage Element to Gallery
- Go to the resource element at the top of the homepage
- Click into the settings
- Click browse to select the desired gallery
Once the element is pointing to a gallery, the slideshow can be maintained and updated directly from the gallery.

This panel is made up of 2 separate components.
- Resource element - for image
- Content element - for welcome text
To change image
- Hover over the Resource element and click on the ‘Settings’ cog.
- Click on the ‘Browse’ button within the ‘Single’ tab in the ‘Edit Resource Element Settings’ window.
- Choose or upload a new photo in Resources.
- Save the element settings and publish the page.
To edit text
- Hover over the content element and click on the ‘Settings’ cog.
- Expand the design tab in the ‘Edit Content Element Settings’ window.
- Update the title in header content area. Select bold for red text.
- Save
- Hover over content element and select Edit Content
- Modify text.
- Save updates

This panel is consist of 2 areas.
- Container - for background image
- 4 content elements - for statistic
To update title
- Hover over the Container and click on the ‘Settings’ cog.
- Expand the design tab in the ‘Edit Container Element Settings’ window.
- Update the title in header content area.
- Click Save.
To change image and text
- Hover over the Resource element and click on the ‘Settings’ cog.
- Update the title in title field.
- Click on the ‘Browse’ button within the ‘Single’ tab in the ‘Edit Resource Element Settings’ window.

- Open the ‘Design’ section inside the ‘Edit Resource Element Settings’ window.
- Update the text in header content area.
- Save the element settings and publish the page.

The divisions panel is made up of 5 separate components.
- Container - for title
- Post element - for latest news
To update the title
- Hover over the Container and click on the ‘Settings’ cog.
- Update the title in title field.
- Click Save.
To change news stories
- Hover on the Posts and click on 'Settings' cog.
- Expand the Content Filters panel.
- Click on Select Board and select the board/boards that need to display.
- Expand the +Design and Update the More Stories link from footer content. Button style - '2022_button-dark-blue'
- Click Save.
To add a news article.
- Click on the 'Modules' icon to the left of Composer and select 'Posts'.
- Click on ‘Boards’ and select the desired folder
- Select the board representing the category the new article will belong to and click on the ‘New Post’ button at the top right of the interface.
- Add the title of the article to the Post title field.
- Add the article content to the ‘Body Content’ content editor.
- Add the article date to the ‘Start’ field at the top right.
- Open the ‘Summary’ panel and click into the content editor.
- Type in a single short paragraph introducing the article (up to 20 words).
- Open the ‘Category & Tags’ panel.
- Add or select the tags you wish to apply to the article.
- Open the ‘Thumbnail & Resources’ panel.
- Click on the ‘Browse’ button and choose or upload a new photo in Resources.
- Save and publish the article.

This section is controlled by Posts.
To change board
- Hover on the Posts and click on 'Settings' cog.
- Expand the Content Filters panel.
- Click on Select Board and select the board/boards that need to display.
- Click Save.
To add a news article

Social media links in footer
The social media icons display based on whichever social media platform name is in the linked page URL. So for example, if you link one of the pages in the Social Links branch to www.facebook.com or even dwight.edu/facebook, the system recognizes the word "facebook" in that destination URL and displays the facebook icon.
The URL for each Social Media Mashup page contains the name of the platform — for example in www.dwight.edu/schools/facebook-accounts "facebook" text is being recognized and displaying the facebook icon. You would need to link the Instagram Social Links page to a page with a URL that includes "instagram" in order for the instagram icon to display.
