Wee Wonder (3-12 Months)

Our Wee Wonder program is a warm and nurturing classroom experience for infants 3-12 months old and their parent or caregiver. It offers developmentally appropriate activities designed to strengthen your child's social, emotional, language, and early literacy growth. For this early childhood education program, each class includes exploration with floor toys, tummy time, movement activities, circle time with songs, finger plays and baby sign language, a lullaby, and a good-bye with bubbles.

Class Days and Times

Wee Wonder runs on Fridays at 11-11:45 am. Registration for the fall and winter terms are now open.

Small Wonder (1-2.5 Years)

For children ages 1-2.5 years and their trusted adult, this preschool-readiness program is designed to encourage active learning and meaningful engagement with others through a consistent classroom routine. Through teacher-directed and open-ended play experiences, children strengthen language, ignite curiosity, develop problem-solving skills, and build confidence — all in a nurturing, lively and creative environment. Each class includes open play, circle time with songs, fingerplays and rhymes, snack and story time, gross motor play, dance and bubbles in the gym, sensory exploration, and a lullaby goodbye.

Class Days and Times

Small Wonder runs on Monday-Thursday from 8:45-10:15 am or 11 am-12:30 pm and on Fridays from 8:45-10:15 am. Families can register by term.

Families enrolled in Small Wonder who are applying to the 2s program are eligible for early notification per ISAAGNY (Independent Schools Admissions Association of Greater New York), of which Dwight is a member school.
