Applying to Pre-K

Key Dates

Our application for the 2027-28 academic year is open. Dwight School will offer two application timelines for grades Pre-K-12.

Early Decision

  • Application due: Friday, November 13
  • Families notified of admissions decision: After 4 pm on Tuesday, December 8

Families who consider Dwight their first-choice school may opt into Early Decision by checking the box on the application. Early Decision is a binding commitment: if a student is admitted and offered an enrollment contract, the family agrees to enroll at Dwight and withdraw all other school applications. Families applying for financial aid will receive their award alongside their Early Decision notification, with priority consideration for available funds. Applicants not admitted through Early Decision will either be deferred to the general pool for further review or given a final decision for the current admissions season.

Regular Decision

  • Application due: Tuesday, December 1
  • Families notified of admissions decision: After 4 pm on Friday, February 19

Step-by-Step Process

Please select your preferred campus, as the application process differs slightly across campuses. Dwight offers our Pre-K program at both our 94th Street Campus (705 Columbus Ave) and our Riverside Campus (144 Riverside Blvd).
