After submitting an application, please schedule your child’s student interview via Ravenna. These appointments last approximately 30-45 minutes and will be conducted by an admissions director. Your child may choose to meet with us via Zoom or on campus. Please note, whether an applicant decides to interview in person or via Zoom will have no impact on the ultimate admission decision. The deadline by which you can schedule an interview is January 15, 2026.

The student interview is a required part of the application process, and serves as an opportunity for us to get to know your child and learn more about their unique qualities and interests. It also provides a platform for your child to ask us about Dwight’s curriculum and programs. While parents will not be interviewed, we warmly welcome the opportunity to connect with you either over phone or during our various in-person events. We value the chance to engage in meaningful conversations with parents throughout the season.

An on-campus interview will not include a tour; however, there are plenty of opportunities to see the school throughout the season by registering for an admissions event via Ravenna. Tours and interview appointments are limited, so we strongly suggest registering as soon as you have submitted an application.

If you are interested in your child receiving additional academic support through the Quest Center, we encourage applicant families to let us know as soon as possible, as space is limited. To learn more about Quest, we invite you to attend a Virtual Quest Information Session via Ravenna. If you are unable to join, please let us know and we will be happy to provide a recording of the event.

Dwight requires either the ISEE or SSAT. While testing is required at Dwight, we consider this to be just one of the many ways we get to know our applicants. 

• For the ISEE test, your child’s testing is administered by the Educational Records Bureau (ERB) and should be arranged by contacting the ERB office through their website or by calling 800.446.0320 and listing our School as a recipient. Our school code is 333605. 
• For the SSAT, your child’s testing is administered by the Secondary School Admissions Bureau (SSATB) and should be arranged by visiting the SSAT site or by calling 609.683.5558 and listing our School as a recipient. Our school code is 2930. Please submit testing to the Admission Office by January 15, 2025.
• For International applicants, we require either the ISEE or SSAT which can be done online or at a Prometric Center. If applicants can not take the test online or at a Prometric Center, they should contact the admissions department to discuss an alternative.

The transcript release form and teacher recommendation forms should be submitted to the applicant’s present school. The teacher recommendation forms must come from both the student's math and English teachers and should be completed after December 1 to ensure an accurate assessment of the student’s performance. If the transcript and teacher recommendation forms are not completed in English, an official translation must also be sent.
