Our Internship Program provides experiential learning opportunities for high school students. Thanks to the generosity of parents, alumni, and members of the greater Manhattan business community, Dwight students intern with or shadow professionals in a wide range of settings.

Students observe the workplace routine, participate in activities, and sit down with their sponsor to ask questions and learn more about the dimensions of the job or career path. To help us build on a successful program, we encourage those community members who can offer shadowing opportunities and internships to one or more students to please email Shauna Fitzmahan, Internship Coordinator, and complete the form below:

Host Application

Students intern with a sponsor, developing new skills in a field of interest. They work closely with a mentor, not only learning the demands of the job, but also actively participating in meetings and projects. The duration of an internship varies.

Students shadow a professional in a field of interest for a day, observing their routine, interactions, and responsibilities.

“The Dwight internship at Tiffany & Co. showed me a great variety of career paths that I didn't even know existed, opening up many possibilities for the future!”— Graduate from the Class of 2022
