Riverside Summer Programs

Riverside Summer Camp

June 18 - July 26 (except week of July 4)

Open to Current Preschool Students in the 2s, 3s, and Pre-K Programs

Riverside Summer Camp 2018 is right around the corner! Designed for current preschool students we offer a flexible schedule to meet your family's needs.

Riverside Summer Camp is designed for current Dwight Preschool students in the Twos, Threes, and Pre-K programs. Classes are grouped by age and led by our current preschool teachers. Children enjoy hands-on, creative activities, both indoors and outdoors. Lessons are planned around weekly themes and teachers use the indoor gyms, classrooms, and Riverside Park to enhance play and instruction. A daily snack consisting of fresh summer fruits is provided each morning and children enjoy eating a light lunch, brought from home, as a group. For students moving into a full day program in the fall, summer camp provides a nice transition into this new routine. From drop-off to pick-up, your child will spend their day enjoying a balance of physical, creative and educationally stimulating activities with familiar friends and teachers!

★ Sports & Fitness Specials: Instruction includes a medley of sports and physical activities

★ Creative & Performing Arts: projects include cooking, arts & crafts, dance, and music

★ Daily Outdoor Playtime: Sprinkler play, playground games, and outdoor exploration

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Riverside Summer Camp Programs embrace the same philosophy as Dwight School, which customizes the experience for each student based on individual interests and passions. We call this igniting the “spark of genius” in every child. Through a wide range of age-appropriate programs ― including our specialty “spark” camps ― children can explore, discover what they enjoy doing, and pursue that passion while also making friends and having fun.
