Aaron Garcia Haddad earned the "Coup de Cœur Comédie" Award for his performance as the grandfather in Le Testament, an original play written by the students. Their play was also honored with the Writing Award, recognizing their storytelling and creativity.
Participating for the first time in this festival — now in its 26th edition — Dwight students embraced the challenge of writing and performing a short play in French, centered around this year's theme: Metamorphosis. The talented student playwrights and actors — Lara Arnold, Eliott Bouchard, Pia d'Aboville, Ella Rose Freyburger, Aaron Garcia Haddad, Romy Guzman, Olivier Ledru, and Leon Solignac — brought their script to life under the guidance of their teacher, Mr. Dianda. Held at the Lycée Français de New York, Première Scène showcases young talent from French programs in the Northeast of the US, from New York to Boston.
Congratulations to our students and Mr. Dianda for this outstanding achievement!
