They become friends and forge connections that will stay with them for years to come.

Dwight students have the opportunity to participate in an exciting summer programs in California to study film on a studio lot in Los Angeles and learn about the industry from Hollywood experts.

No matter where a student attends Dwight, we celebrate global mindedness and develop students who can thrive anywhere in the world.

Our Welcoming International Community

Dwight students and faculty represent over 40 countries; many students in our school are international. Each year, families share their native cuisine at our International Food Festival and come together at numerous gatherings sponsored by our Parents Association, making for a close-knit community.

Upon enrollment, new international families are matched with current families to help introduce them to school life and to New York. Many families choose to live in our safe and family-oriented neighborhood with tree-lined streets and easy access to Central Park.

The Spark of Innovation Program

Dwight nurtures student creativity and innovation from an early age. Through our unique Spark of Innovation Program, students from kindergarten through grade 12 are encouraged to apply for monetary grants from The Dwight School Foundation to bring their novel ideas and inventions with real-world applications into the marketplace.
