Riverside Summer Programs

Our littlest campers have big fun in our Summer Programs. Join us this summer!

Riverside Summer Camp Programs embrace the same philosophy as Dwight School, which customizes the experience for each student based on individual interests and passions. Through a wide range of age-appropriate programming children can explore, discover what they enjoy doing, and pursue that passion while also making friends and having fun!

Riverside Summer Camp 2021

Summer programming is designed for current Dwight Preschool students ages 2-5. Classes are grouped by age and led by our preschool & kindergarten teachers. Children enjoy hands-on, creative activities, both indoors and outdoors, and lessons are planned around weekly themes.

Register here. If you have any questions or would like more information about the program, please email Clara Mendez at cmendez@dwight.edu.

Summer Small Wonder Programs (Ages 1-2.5)

Small Wonder

Small Wonder, our non-separated preschool-readiness program for students and their trusted adults, is offered this summer Mondays through Thursdays, 9-11am. Our Small Wonder summer classes include art, music, gym activities, story time, and so much more! Space is limited and enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. COVID-19 Protocols: Adults who attend class must present a negative COVID test. Face masks are required for adults. Register here for one or two mornings per week.

Small Wonder Next Steps

Small Wonder Next Steps is a gentle separation program reserved for students turning 2 by July 1, 2021 and entering the Preschool 2s in September 2021. Next Steps will meet Mondays through Thursdays, 8:30-11:30am, following a modified phase-in schedule for the first two weeks of class. Register here for 4 mornings per week.

If you have any questions or would like more information about Small Wonder, please email smallwonder@dwight.edu.

Our Philosophy

Riverside Summer Camp Programs embrace the same philosophy as Dwight School, which customizes the experience for each student based on individual interests and passions. We call this igniting the “spark of genius” in every child. Through a wide range of age-appropriate programs ― including our specialty “spark” camps ― children can explore, discover what they enjoy doing, and pursue that passion while also making friends and having fun.
